STITCHED DEFINITION
Stitched Definition explores how language struggles to fully explain emotional experiences connected to memory, distance, and absence. Using embroidered and disrupted text, the project takes dictionary-style definitions and physically interrupts them through stitching and thread. The act of stitching becomes both constructive and destructive, obscuring parts of the text while drawing attention to the gaps and limitations within language itself. Through this process, the work reflects on how some experiences can be felt clearly but remain difficult to fully describe or define.
